  1. Looking for creative direction is like fishing for ideas. You want to catch a small idea, and if it is one you love and can embrace, you should be able to dance with it, sing to it, grow it like a plant, and be free with it. It should be like a snowball that you keep rolling, or a pile that you keep adding objects to.

  2. David Lynch kind of has this fun and playful ideology to his theories about finding ideas. Catching them and adding them together to make one grand idea seems to be a great way to work in a consecutive manner. It allows you to grasp different ideas in but work towards one goal.

    1. I definitely agree with Quinton on the benefit of thinking/working in terms of small projects that all contribute towards a single goal/theme. Lynch's description of attracting the right ideas by using the previously catched ones as bait is spot on.
