  1. I think this is the peaceful artistic protest against the wall between the US and Mexico. As a Korean, the borderline is very relatable. But the borderline between US and Mexico is different. It's unilateral and unfair decision. While people really doesn't care about it, these artists did great thing.

    1. The Art21 program curated these artists together because they all are individually focused on ideas associated with the border. Important to remember they are not all a collective that are working as a team but rather a sampling of a few artists that have chosen to focus on various aspects of the same issue/location.

  2. This project was very touching and difficult to hear peoples stories. It is interesting how this project and the cloud project chose to discuss similar issues but chose completely different ways for addressing the situation at hand. I am inspired by the idea of having individuals interact to come together as people and use it as a peaceful protest against a serious issue. Community artworks have been truly inspiring me as of lately.

  3. I thought it was interesting to see the use of balloons with a symbolic eye that represents the idea of knowledge and accountability. The balloons are meant to unite the two sides of the border. Instead of being thrown into prison, people should be able to explore and gain experiences from seeking better opportunities. I thought the wearable art piece was very strong because it limits one's senses and makes the border a part of their lifestyle. It shows what it's like to live with the border-They would see through the border and hear through the border.
